Blog » Huge Well Done to Team Caddy

Back home from a fantastic weekend at the Premier Show - our first show of the season.
The organising committee did a fantastic job - the rings were beautifully presented & everything ran smoothly. A great effort considering the last minute venue change that was thrown at them.

Proud to say that Team Caddy didn't drop a class all weekend.

On Saturday our ever-consistent Eastdale Diva picked up the Led Adult Pony title then swapped gear to carry her wee jockey around sweetly to win both the Lead Rein Pony and Lead Rein Rider titles.

We had a great debut show with our beautiful new hack, La Soleil. Although rather daunted by the big atmosphere, she produced a lovely workout for Fiona to win the competitive Novice Horse Challenge. Looking forward to seeing how this girl shapes up over the coming season.

On Sunday it was Trey's turn to step out in the ring for the open titles.
After the disappointment of missing HOY through injury, it was awesome to see Nanteos Autumn Guardsman busting out his big trot to win the Small Saddle Hunter Pony title. Trey (busy lad!) then carried on to win the Small and Medium Show Pony titles with Eastdale Diva and Leeara Park First Edition respectively.

The icing on the cake - after qualifying all three ponies - was Trey taking out the Lisa Chittick Memorial for Grand Champion Ridden Exhibit with First Edition. Leo worked like a wee star in the indoor....such a thrill for Team Caddy to take out this title for the third year running. Special thanks to Bella Vujcich and Billie Roach for riding/handling the ponies so beautifully in the group work.

Our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors, volunteers, judges (you all looked stunning, despite the topsy-turvy weather) and stewards who kept the show running.
